വളയം ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിലെ കുണ്ടുപൊയില്‍ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ 5 മുതല്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം ആരംഭിക്കുകയാണ്. ഔപചാരിക ഉദ്ഘാടനം കാലത്ത് 10 മണിക്ക്  നാദാപുരം എം.എല്‍.എ. കെ.എം. അജിത്ത് നിര്‍വ്വഹിക്കും.

ചടങ്ങില്‍ വളയം ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് പി.എസ്. പ്രീത അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിക്കും. അര്‍ഷിദ് കെ.കെ. , വി വി .ബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍, എം. നികേഷ്, വിജയന്‍ കുന്നുമ്മല്‍, സി.വി. അബ്ദുള്ള, രഞ്ജിത്ത് മൊളേരി, രവീഷ് വളയം, കെ.ടി. കുഞ്ഞിക്കണ്ണന്‍, ബാലന്‍.എം.ടി., എം.കെ. അഷ്‌റഫ്, വേണു ഗോപാല്‍ കല്ലാച്ചി തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ സംസാരിക്കും.

വയോജന സൗഹൃദ പദ്ധതികള്‍ വികസിപ്പിക്കുക, സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പാലിയേറ്റീവ് സേവനങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊപ്പം ജനകീയ ഇടപെടല്‍ ശക്തമാക്കുക,. ഗൃഹാധിഷ്ഠിത പരിചരണം, മാനസികാരോഗ്യ സേവനങ്ങള്‍, നിയമസഹായം എന്നിവ നല്‍കുക, പ്രാഥമിക ആരോഗ്യ പരിചരണവും മാനസികാരോഗ്യ പിന്തുണയും ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുക, നിയമ അവകാശങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് ബോധവല്‍ക്കരണം നല്‍കുക, തുടങ്ങിയവയാണ് പുനര്‍ജനി വയോജനമഠത്തിന്റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തന ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങള്‍.

നാദാപുരം പ്രസ് ക്ലബ് ഹാളില്‍ നടന്ന വാര്‍ത്താ സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് വേണുഗോപാൽ കല്ലാച്ചി , എം പി ഭാസ്ക്കരൻ , ശശിധരൻ കക്കട്ട് എന്നിവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

Punarjani Vayojana Madham, an elderly care initiative, will begin operations at Kundupoyil in Valayam Grama Panchayat from September 5. Nadapuram MLA K.M. Ajith will inaugurate the facility at 10 am. The initiative aims to develop elderly-friendly projects, strengthen community participation alongside government palliative services, and provide home-based care, mental health services and legal assistance. It also seeks to strengthen primary healthcare and mental health support and create awareness about legal rights. Office-bearers said elderly care should become a social responsibility, citing concerns including migration of younger generations, loneliness and uncertainty surrounding the national employment guarantee scheme.
