തോൽപ്പെട്ടി: വിദ്യാർഥികളിൽ പ്രകൃതിസ്നേഹവും പരിസ്ഥിതി ബോധവും വളർത്തുന്നതിനും വന്യജീവി സംരക്ഷണം, പരിസ്ഥിതി സംരക്ഷണം, വനമേഖലയിലെ ജൈവവൈവിധ്യം എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ച് നേരിട്ട് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നതിനുമായി ചെക്യാട് ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പ്രകൃതി പഠന ക്യാമ്പ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു.

വയനാട് തോൽപ്പെട്ടി വന്യജീവി സങ്കേതത്തിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ‘പ്രതിഭ സംഗമം’ പ്രകൃതി പഠന ക്യാമ്പ് ചെക്യാട് ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് അഹമ്മദ് പുന്നക്കൽ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. വിദ്യാർഥികളുടെ പഠനശേഷിക്കൊപ്പം നിരീക്ഷണപാടവം, സർഗാത്മക ചിന്ത, നേതൃത്വഗുണം എന്നിവ വളർത്തേണ്ടതിന്റെ ആവശ്യകത അദ്ദേഹം വിശദീകരിച്ചു.

Nature study camp organized under leadership of Chekyad Grama Panchayat to cultivate nature love and environmental awareness among students and to understand directly wildlife conservation, environmental protection and biodiversity in forest area. Prathibha Sangamam nature study camp organized at Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary in Wayanad was inaugurated by Chekyad Grama Panchayat president Ahmed Punnakkal who explained need to develop observation skills, creative thinking and leadership qualities along with learning ability. Health-Education Standing Committee chairman CH Hameed Master presided, Vice President Vasantha Karindrayil, Development Standing Committee chairman Ahmed Kuruvayil, Welfare Standing Committee chairperson CK Jameela, Forest Section Officer MK Sashi spoke. Ward members KK Abdulla, KP Kumaran, Athikka Muhammed, K Dwara, Maimoonath, Faiz Chekyad, Nusrath Rayaroth, Assistant Secretary Bijumon, VK Aboobacker Master, Beat Forest Officers Sajeevan TB, Divyasree TP, Sajin MS, FBA Ramachandran also participated. Panchayat Secretary Muhammed Ashiq welcomed and PEC convener Ranjith Master thanked.
