**നാദാപുരം: ** ആരോഗ്യപ്രവർത്തകരുടെ സുരക്ഷയും ഹെപ്പറ്റൈറ്റിസ് ബി പ്രതിരോധവും ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ട് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഡെൻ്റൽ അസോസിയേഷൻ കേരള സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ബ്രാഞ്ച് നടപ്പിലാക്കിയ ഡി സേഫ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ അവസാന ഘട്ടം ഇന്ന് നടക്കും.

ആരോഗ്യപ്രവർത്തകർക്ക് തൊഴിൽപരമായി ഹെപ്പറ്റൈറ്റിസ് ബി വൈറസ് ബാധിക്കാനുള്ള സാധ്യത കൂടുതലായ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ, ഡെൻ്റൽ മേഖലയിലെ ജീവനക്കാരുടെ സുരക്ഷ ഉറപ്പാക്കുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയാണ് പദ്ധതി ആരംഭിച്ചത്.

വടകര ബ്രാഞ്ചിൻ്റെ കീഴിലുള്ള ദന്തൽ ക്ലിനിക്കിലെ മുന്നൂറോളം ആരോഗ്യപ്രവർത്തകർക്ക് ആദ്യഘട്ട പ്രതിരോധ വാക്‌സിൻ നൽകി പ്രശംസനീയമായ പ്രവർത്തനമാണ് നടത്തിയത്. ഈ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ബൂസ്റ്റർ ഡോസ് ഇന്ന് വടകര സി.എം ഹോസ്‌പ്പിറ്റലിന്റെയും നാദാപുരം ന്യൂക്ലിയസ് ഹോസ്‌പിറ്റലിറ്റയും സഹകരണത്തോടെ വിതരണം ചെയ്യും.

ആരോഗ്യപ്രവർത്തകരുടെ സുരക്ഷയാണ് സുരക്ഷിതമായ ആരോഗ്യ സംവിധാനത്തിൻ്റെ അടിത്തറ എന്ന സന്ദേശവുമായി ഭാവിയിലും കൂടുതൽ വിപുലമായ പ്രതിരോധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുമായി മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുമെന്ന് ഭാരവാഹികൾ അറിയിച്ചു.

വാർത്താസമ്മേളനത്തിൽ ഡെന്റൽ അസോസിയേഷൻ വടകര ബ്രാഞ്ച് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഡോ. ആർ പ്രമോദ്, പ്രോഗ്രാം കൺവീനർ ഡോ. എം.കെ അബ്ദുൽ സലാം, ജോ.സെക്രട്ടറി ഡോ. എ.ടി മുഹമ്മദ് എന്നിവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

Targeting safety of health workers and Hepatitis B prevention, final phase of D Safe project implemented by Indian Dental Association Kerala State Branch will be held today in Nadapuram. Project started with aim of ensuring safety of employees in dental sector as health workers have higher occupational risk of Hepatitis B virus infection. Vadakara branch did commendable work by giving first phase preventive vaccine to around three hundred health workers in dental clinics under it. Booster dose of this project will be distributed today in collaboration with Vadakara CM Hospital and Nadapuram Nucleus Hospital. Office bearers informed that they will go ahead with more extensive preventive activities in future with message that safety of health workers is foundation of safe health system.
