നാദാപുരം: ഒരു നാട് ഒന്നാകെ പുലി ഭീതി കഴിയുമ്പോള്‍ മാതൃകാപരമായ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളുമായി കുറ്റിപ്രം കൂട്ടായ്മ. കുറ്റിപ്രം കൂട്ടായ്മ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ ചേലക്കാട് - വില്യാപ്പളളി പാതയോരത്തെ കനാല്‍ പരിസരം ശുചീകരിച്ചു.

കുറ്റിപ്രം മാര്‍ട്ടിന് സമീപത്ത് നിന്ന് കുറ്റിപ്രം എ എല്‍പി സ്‌കൂളിലേക്ക് പോകുന്ന ഭാഗമാണ് ശുചീകരിച്ചത്. പുലി ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള വന്യജീവികളുടെ ആക്രമണങ്ങള്‍ പതിവാകുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ സ്വകാര്യ വ്യക്തികളുടെ കാട് പിടിച്ച് കിടക്കുന്ന പറമ്പുകള്‍ അടിയന്തിരമായി വെട്ടിതെളിയിക്കണമെന്ന് നാദാപുരം ഗ്രാമ പഞ്ചായത്ത് ഭരണ സമിതി പൊതു ജനങ്ങളോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.

ഇത്തരമൊരു സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് കനാല്‍ പരിസരത്തെ കാട് വെട്ടിതെളിയിച്ച് കുറ്റിപ്രം കൂട്ടായ്മ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം കാഴ്ച വെച്ചത്. എല്ലാ വര്‍ഷവും കൂട്ടായ്മയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ കനാല്‍ പരിസരം ശുചീകരിക്കാറുണ്ട്.

പുലി ഭീതിയുടെ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ഇത്തവണ നേരത്തെ ഇറങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു. കുറ്റിപ്രം കനാല്‍ പരിസരം കാട് പിടിച്ച് കിടക്കുന്നത് പ്രദേശവാസികള്‍ക്ക് വലിയ ഭീഷണി സൃഷ്ടിക്കുകയാണ്. പഞ്ചായത്ത് ഭരണ സമിതിയുടെ പിന്തുണ കൂടി ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്യാന്‍ കഴിയുമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയിലാണ് കൂട്ടായ്മ.
