കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ കണ്ണവം വനത്തിൽനിന്നാണ് ആനകൾ കൃഷി ഭൂമിയിലിറങ്ങുന്നത്.

പ്രദേശവാസികളായ കുറ്റിക്കാട്ടിൽ ബിജു, പുൽതകി ടിയേൽ കുഞ്ഞൂട്ടി എന്നിവരുടെ പറമ്പിലാണ് ആനകളിറങ്ങി കാ ർഷികവിളകൾ നശിപ്പിച്ചത്.
